NEW GALLERY SHOW: “Over Inked Under Exposed”
Stupid Easy is proud to announce a new exhibition of works from the graduating seniors of the Printmaking Department at the University of the Arts. This is a talented group of eight individuals who will be taking over our gallery space during the month of May (yes, that includes first friday). They’ve got prints and installations and video and I hear there’s going to be a giant elephant involved…

Exhibition of Thesis Work by the University of the Arts
Printmaking Seniors
The Printmaking Department at the University of the Arts is pleased to announce an exhibition of work by the graduating seniors at StupIDEAsy Gallery. Over Inked and Under Exposed will run from May 6 to May 15, 2011. The opening reception will be held Saturday, May 7.
The show will feature bodies of work by eight different artists, including Jackie Barry, Jennifer Bernardin, Courtney Brown, Cerise Kacensky, Thomas Mancusi, Christopher Terrell, Olivia Thornton, and Ji Yeong Yoon. The artists’ work explores various printmaking media including screenprinting, relief, and intaglio and transcends works on paper with forays into installation and video work.
Over Inked and Under Exposed opens Friday, May 6, and runs through Sunday, May 15. The artists will be present at an opening reception on Saturday, May 7 from 6PM to 9PM. All other viewings are by appointment.
